Summer 2021 Aruba Getaway
Imagine this…you’re stuck in your house for a year and a half and you’re going crazy. Where do you go to get away? After a long COVID staycation, what better place to vacation than warm and sunny Aruba? We had clients come from all over, Massachusetts, Delaware, South Carolina, and Texas. These women were absolutely amazing and they were down for an unbelievable adventure!
Day 1
It’s travel day! We land in Aruba on our first day there and it’s more beautiful than you can imagine. It’s sunny and in the high 80s, it was the perfect weather. We arrived at our rented house and we all got settled in. That evening we all enjoyed a nice dinner on the beach together.
Day 2
It’s our first full day in Aruba and we were all gearing up to start our photoshoots. Our first shoots were in one of the bedrooms at the house we were renting. After we finished up in the bedroom, we moved down to the pool at the house. After the pool, we moved to the beach. Our second day was full of sunshine and photoshoots!
Day 3
Our third day in Aruba was an adventure to say the least. We had planned an ATV excursion with everyone on the trip. Saying this adventure went to plan would be an understatement. After our ATV adventure, we had a beach break with snorkeling and white sandy beaches! We added in a fun COVID test so we could get ready to head home. After fitting in one more shoot that afternoon. We ended the night with another group dinner at the house.
Day 4
Day 4 was another travel day. I was headed back home to Massachusetts, while some of the other girls stayed longer to enjoy the beautiful island.
What an amazing trip, full of surprises! Aruba was absolutely gorgeous, but the woman who joined me on this trip were who made this trip worth it!! There were a few funny hiccups with being in a foreign country, like a broken down rental car, losing power at the house, having a wanna be race car driver for our atv guide, and a handful of travel bloopers! But all the crazy makes for an amazing story with even better company!!
